BYJ - South Korea's third stock-rich entertainer

Source: TWSSG TEAM (thanks)

Entertainment insiders see stocks rise on Korean Wave.

Cr. - koreajoongangdaily

Despite the dip in the local stock market, shareholders of entertainment agencies that have churned out such K-pop bands as Super Junior and 2NE1 are seeing the value of their shares skyrocket - all thanks to the Korean Wave.

The richest of them all is Lee Soo-man, founder and chairman of SM Entertainment, which has produced groups like Girls' Generation, Super Junior, TVXQ, f(X) and SHINee. As of yesterday, the singer-turned-entrepreneur's 24.43 percent stake in SM was valued at a whopping 186.86 billion won ($158.38 million). The stock climbed 1.3 percent yesterday to a record high of 41,500 won, even though the Kosdaq closed down 1.28 percent. Earlier in 2009, the stock was valued at only 1,500 won per share, almost 0.03 percent of the current price.

Having contributed to spreading the Korean Wave not only throughout Asia, its previous focus, but also to the United States and Europe in recent months, SM saw its stocks shoot up 2.5 times this year and now has a market capitalization of 688 billion won.

"The recent success in Paris of concerts by all the bands with SM in June indicates that SM may have a good shot at expanding outside of Asia", said Kim Chang-won, an analyst with Daewoo Investment & Securities.

BoA, a minority shareholder in SM who has 1.25 percent stake in the company amounting to 4.62 billion won as of yesterday, ranks sixth in terms of stock value among Korean entertainers. The 25-year-old singer, who once was active in the United States, is part of the early generation of singers that SM produced in early 2000. Kang Ta, a member of H.O.T., the most popular boy band in the mid-1990s, is eighth on the list, with 1.29 billion won.

Korea's second stock-rich entertainer is Yang Hyun-suk, founder and CEO of YG Entertainment, which has produced Big Bang and 2NE1. As a top shareholder in the company with a 47.7 percent stake, Yang owned 88.91 billion won in shares as of yesterday. The stock value is based on the over-the-counter market price. Having passed a preliminary evaluation for listing in June, YG, the nation's second-largest entertainment firm, is planning an initial public offering in the Kosdaq market on Oct. 13.

YG's over-the-counter price has risen steadily in recent months. Should the momentum continue, market observers predict that Yang will soon join Lee in the 100-billion-won club.

The nation's third stock-rich entertainer is actor Bae Jong-joon, widely referred to as Yon-sama, the nickname he was given by Japanese fans in the early 2000s following the success of his 2002 series "Winter Sonata".

The actor, who runs a few restaurants in both Korea and Japan and has invested in a few TV dramas including KBS's "Dream High", owns a 34.6 percent stake in his agency, KeyEast. As of yesterday, his stake in the agency was valued at 14.28 billion won.

Bae is followed by Park Jin-young, CEO of JYP Entertainment, which has the Wonder Girls and Miss A. The dancer-singer-businessman's 6.14 percent stake in the company he founded tallied at 7.5 billion won yesterday, with a market capitalization of 119.5 billion won, almost one-sixth of SM.

[News Trans]Bae Yong Joon, “I’m a pet lover, too!” He was fascinated with the 3 months old dog’s cute acts.

[enews24 Reporter Lee In Kyaung] Bae Yong Joon joined a “Pet Lover” group. Recently he adopted a 3 month old white dog and has fallen into raising him/her. Currently, he lives alone at the house in Seongbuk-dong that was remodeled. It seems that he might be experiencing loneliness and emptiness since he has been living in a big house alone, but his dog is filling that empty space.

Someone who is related to him said, “He is raising his dog by his friends’ recommendations, but he already has fallen into his dogs’ cute acts. His dog is only 3 months old, but he is big as a man’s forearm. He seemed pleased when showing his dog to his friends while they were visiting his house.”

Recently, Lee Hyori, Eom Tae Woong, Lee Chae Young and Lee Yoon Ji raise dogs and cats. They are getting attention from the netizens as pet lovers because they take pictures with their pets. Someone related to the entertainers commented, “Entertainers are getting lots of comforts from their pets. We think this is positive because they are able to relax and relieve stress from the entertainment business while taking care of them.”

On the other hand, Bae Yong Joon is in full swing reviewing his return work for next year. He pays close attention to his come back work and KBS 2’s “Dream High 2” which his agency, Keyeast produces. His agency said, “It’s true that he is getting lots of offers from “Associated Channels” and others, but he hasn’t decided yet. Sometimes, he narrows down the choices and tries to make a decision, but he comes back after receiving more offers. But he is determined to return next year.”

“Exclusive Interview”; Extracted contents which weren’t in the newspaper.

Exclusive Interview, “To Families”

Q: You look a little slimmer compared to the last time when you visited Japan at the end of last year.

BYJ: Yes. Even my muscles have loosened up a bit. I have to exercise, but my condition is not at that stage yet. It seems like I’m going to train after multiple rehabilitations. Actually, I still can’t feel my second finger. It looks numb a bit and doesn't have much feeling.

Q: I heard that you started to raise a big dog. How about do you regain your health with a dog?

BYJ: My dog was vaccinated today, (September 4th). Now he/she can go outside. Dogs usually only follow their owners. But my dog follows everyone, even strangers. I like its personality. I don’t think he can be a watchdog.(laugh)

Q: Then, you, daddy, have to protect him. Thank you.

BYJ: Thank you.

News trans from Suehan's blog (thanks a lot dear)

Bae Yong Joon is just like my real brother;
his presence is beyond imagination.

Oh my news 2011-09-17 10:25

We can’t forget Bae Yong Joon when we define Rep Yang Geun Hwan of Keyeast “Key Word”. Yang has been working with Bae Yong Joon over the last 10 years. Yang described his relationship with BYJ as, “Just like family, not only trust.”

“A love-hate relationship? There isn’t any hate, just love. He is just like my real brother. Even my wife calls him “Ajubeoni (suehan: brother-in-law)” I think we kept the relationship until now because we had complete faith each other.

In my career as a manager, I didn’t have much to say if I don’t talk about BYJ. I have been with him for so long, and our relationship will continue in the future as well. He is my mentor in life and at work.”

Bae Yong Joon is also his “Oh My Star” in his life. He said, “BYJ’s presence in my life is beyond imagination. He will be my ‘Oh My Star”. He also stated that “He influences me more as “a person than a star. He hasn’t worked for a long time, but he plans to return preferably with a drama than a movie,”

Yang has been living as someone’s manager for more than 10 years, not as “Yang Geun Hwan” himself. He said that he gains most strength when actors whom he are working with succeed. He looked back to the time when he had been deeply moved seeing Bae Yong Joon’s fans gathered at the airport.

On the other hand, there was a moment he didn’t want to face, an incident while meeting with BYJ’s fans. He also worked with Park Yong Ha. He said, “Last year, I was shocked tremendously when he passed away. Hopefully, it won’t happen again.”

“The Drastic Transformation” of entertainers is a daily topic in the entertainment industry. But Rep Yang prefers “Changes” to “Transformations”. In his opinion, it will naturally change when changes pile up and digestible spectrums are widened.

“Is it a right choice to dump everything to transform? There will be a great risk. I believe “Changes” are better than “Transformations”, unless turning points are necessary.”

[Trans]From Sommelier Lee Joon Hyuk’s interview

English translation by Suehan (Thanks a lot sis)
She only translated the content related to BYJ.

Sommelier, Lee Joon Hyuk, recently released a book, “Wine & People” containing interviews of several famous people. He connects wine to the interviewee’s life and tells stories about his/her works, loves, successes and failures.

His book has a total of 15 famous and honest stories of actors including Bae Yong Joon, Kim Hyun Joong, Lim Soo Jung, Choi Gang Lee, Baik Yoon Shik, director Lee Joon Ik, and others. He also shared useful information about decanting, breathing, and keeping wine. The publication is so meaningful because all of its profits will be donated to UNICEF Korea and Korean Federation for Environmental Movement.

Bae Yong Joon
2005 Domaine de la Romanee Conti, Romanee Conti

At the interview with Bae Yong Joon, Lee Joon Hyuk pulled the cork of from a bottle of wine, a 2005 Domaine de la Romanee Conti. Romanee Conti is regarded as “the best wine on earth.” Lee Joon Hyuk considers it the most suitable wine for Bae Yong Joon, who is one of the best actors in Asia, not only in Korea. Romane Conti is the most expensive wine in the world. That’s why it’s extremely rare to find someone who has tried this wine. Whoever has tried it even once can’t forget the taste of it.

Bae Yong Joon recommended the publication to Lee Joon Hyuk. They casually met in 2007, and have closely befriended since then. Lee Joon Hyuk came to Korea for the publication of his book for a short time and stayed at Bae Yong Joon’s house.

“We met right after he had finished the filming of “TWSSG” and became close friends right away because of our similar taste in wine. He even suggested that I write a book about the stories of wine and people. I started to write a book because I was interested in his opinion about people’s stories, not just wine. But it wasn’t easy. (Haha)”

Bae Yong Joon, who was one of his interviewees, opened Bae Yong Joon’s house in Seongbuk-dong for the first time. Bae Yong Joon’s house was under repair before moving, but he actively helped Lee by rushing the wine cellar installation for the photo shooting for his book.

“It was just like visiting the artist’s house. It was a plain house with many books and art, and there wasn’t any expensive furniture. There was a tearoom. According to him, it was his favorite spot. Hyeong (BYJ)’s favorite teas were deokum tea (suehan: roasted tea) of Korea, puer tea and cheolgwaneum tea of China, and mal tea of Japan. I saw a spinning wheel make china and made me think that he had a deep knowledge of arts. He said that he would use dirt, trees, and rocks if he builds a house himself. (laugh)”

Bae Yong Joon is a famous wine lover who likes installing a wine cellar at the basement. His wine cellar was equipped with various kinds of wines. It is said that his collection is limitless since he has been collecting one or two at the local wine store and whenever he has traveled abroad. There are inexpensive daily wines and expensive wines as well. Whenever his acquaintances visit his house, he hosts a blind wine tasting, not telling its price, kind, origin, and vintage. He really likes to see them concentrating on its flavor. It’s said that he can even distinguish between a “1982 Château Mouton Rothschild” and “1982 Château Latour”. They are very difficult wines to distinguish; only experts can tell the difference.

It’s said that he started gaining interest in wine when he traveled to France alone in the middle of the 1990s. He got to the hotel and tried a few bottles of wine that he purchased. He wasn’t able to taste any special flavors at that moment, but when he tried the wine again the next afternoon, its astringent taste disappeared and the soft flavor remained. The air and wine caused oxidation and it made the taste and flavor soft. He was fascinated by its elegant, brilliant flavor and started enjoying wine since that time. That fortunate wine was a “1982 château Margau”.

Mr. Bae lives in the neighborhood and enjoys rice and soup which is worth of $2.50.

Bae Yong Joon’s nickname listed on Lee Joon Hyuk’s cell phone is “Mr. Bae in the neighborhood”. They used to live in the same area, Samseong-dong. They got close quickly because of the close proximity and their love for wine. Now, they live together and even travel together.

“We once went to the wine tasting event which was held in Busan. It was a good opportunity to taste the best Romanee Conti vintage wines, but I drank them all, even his, because he had to drive. I fell asleep and even snored in the car. He told me later that I was the first person who fell asleep while he was driving (laugh). He told me that he asked his managers not to drive excessively, because he realized how hard it was when he drove to Busan and returned to Seoul. He is truly a caring person.”
He said that Bae Yong Joon carries a humble attractiveness, not like top stars. It seems that he has a feast every meal, but he enjoys $2.50 rice and soup and cooks at home. He is known as a perfectionist of self-management. He said that he always sees Bae Yong Joon on the running machine the next morning after drinking together the night before. He also said that Bae Yong Joon is talented in various areas other than acting such as taking photos, art, and even cooking.

“Hyeong (BYJ) enjoys taking photos as much as he likes carrying both film cameras and digital cameras. He held an exhibition at Mori-Gallery in Japan. He said that he had to click the shutter when he felt something while looking at a subject. He said the techniques could be improved, but not the feelings.”

Once, he met Bae Yong Joon and a photographer, Bae Byung Woo. At that time, they talked about the professional aspects of camera models and camera techniques. On that day, a photographer Bae Byung Woo suggested shootings in Jeju to Bae Yong Joon who was interested in having shoots.

“Hyeong injured his neck while filming “TWSSG” and he was hospitalized in the early part of this year. He still suffers from it. Meanwhile, he enjoys reading two or three books a week. I am often surprised by his excellent knowledge and way with words. It probably comes from his energetic reading.”

It is said that he eats food that is a little bland and insufficient. He cooks very well and even makes kimchee. He learned how to cook from his mother’s dishes and cooks with recipes from cookbooks. As a younger brother, he is sad to see Bae Yong Joon remain single even though he has everything he needs.

“He joked by saying, “How can you get married before me” when I had gotten married. I hope he meets a nice girl. His ideal girl is a physically and spiritually well-balanced girl.”
He appeared in KBS’s drama “Dream High” shortly, and he has had time to recharge himself. But, it is said that he plans to return this year and it seems that it is likely we will see him on TV.

“I asked him about his dream at the end of the interview. He said that he wanted to set up an art school or farm. He said his dream has been changed while acting. Recently, he has a new dream to provide a clean environment to our children in the future. It is him. He is truly a great man who is more than just a Hallyu star.”

Hallyu frontrunner Bae Yong Joon, star producer Park Jin Young, recent Cannes attendee Jeon Ji Hyun and singer/actor Rain led an A-list line-up of actors and idols participating in “The Rainbow Project,” a charity auction to help African children.

“The Rainbow Project,” a brainchild of art director Go Young Hee and Broom Tree, aims to raise funds through a week long sale of stars’ personal possessions, exhibition of artwork and performances, and health and beauty promotions. Profits made from the event happening in Seoul on September 17 to 25, will be donated for the benefit of opening up the dreams of poor African children.

“I wish to share the happiness and hope,” Jeon Ji Hyun said in a statement.

“I am delighted to have been given the chance to be a part of ‘The Rainbow Project,’” actor Jo In Sung said. “I hope everyone supports the event to help children live their powerful dreams.”
Actress Son Ye Jin, last seen on TV in 2010’s “Personal Taste,” donated a bracelet she had made herself. She said, “I am happy my personally made bracelet can be a part of this.”

Actors Jang Hyuk, Go Soo, Kang Ji Hwan, Lee Min Ki, Daniel Henney, Song Joong Ki, Ryu Seung Soo, and Kim Soo Hyun, along with today’s hottest idols Kim Hyun Joong, 2PM and miss A participated in the charity project as well.

While “The Rainbow Project” is gaining attention for the participation of celebrities, it is only the latest charity program of its creator Go Young Hee, who, for 10 years, has been teaching art to those who could not afford it.

Nikkan Sports Interview

Our dear Cloudnine again done a translation about the exclusive interview of Nikkan sport with BYJ while he was in Tokyo last Sept. 13'11, and with the help of Jaime it was posted on her blog where I lifted my copy. Thanks so much to my sisters...

Nikkan Sports September 13 ‘Exclusive Interview with BYJ’

Here’s an exclusive interview with a Korean actor Bae Yong Joon (39).

While he was in Japan for the drama ‘Dream High’ Dvd release event, the interview with Nikkan Sports took place in a staff room of Saitama Super Arena. It’s seven years since the big hit of ‘Winter Sonata’ in 2004. The actor, who laid the foundation of the prosperity of Korean entertainment and who has been a permanent top star himself, told us frankly about who he is now.

( Interviewer; Hayato Kubo)

Q: You must be tired after the event. It’s been a while since you met your family (fans) , how do you feel now?

A: I’m most grateful and at the same time I feel sorry. Due to my health problem I was very sorry for not appearing much in the drama. I’m deeply sorry even for today’s event, because if I could sing or dance like my juniors I would have shown it. I wish to show my work as an actor, but it has not been decided yet, I feel terribly sorry for this too.

Q: For ‘Dream High’ you joined not only as an actor but also as a producer, how did you find it?

A: It was my first attempt, which put me in a different position from acting. I think I could see the parts which I had missed while I was working only as an actor. Also about the drama I could acquire the broader understanding and which was very helpful for acting. What I had no chance to see as only an actor , this time from a viewpoint of a production company I was able to see, and that is for example how the direction was and how the staff were working. Actors tend to be quite selfish on the set inevitably. For them acting is above everything else and building up character’s emotions is very important. So actors really don’t notice other things. Now I can look over such parts, but this doesn’t mean I don’t focus on my character or acting. I had no idea how much it costs to produce a drama, however now I understand how much we need.

Q: If you have an another chance, would you like to work as a producer again?

A: If I do so, my family might say something to me (laughs). For the time being I will be a full-time actor, however as for ‘Dream High 2’ I wish to be involved in the project at least. Actually here (in the dressing room of Saitama Arena) JYP and I were having a kind of meeting about the story. The theme for the drama is ‘dream’. In the event being asked ‘What is a dream?’, I answered that for me it’s a high ideal which I can’t reach. In the true sense fulfilling dreams or saying that the dream came true are very serious matter and difficult to do. It’s something like reaching an unreachable state of mind, that is what we call in Buddhism ‘attaining an enlightened state of mind’ I think. In today’s event JYP suggested me to become a director, which I consider one of my dreams rather than a goal. I have no idea if it’s possible or not, but for me it’s my dream.

Q: We are living in a tough world, difficult times in many ways. For young people it’s getting harder to pursue their dreams. For those people what kind of advice would you give?

A: I suppose young people don’t know much about the world yet. They just have no idea about what kind of jobs are there or, what kind of jobs they can do, so at any rate I want them to try a lot of things. I want them to make efforts to try anything. This may be called curiosity and I want them to see various things and feel them. Above all the most important thing is to do their best at this moment. Doing their utmost efforts now will lead them to their future, and it will also bring their dreams into shape. It will be a process to understand what dreams are .

Q: Fans who came to the event and who didn’t both care about how you will appear in the next work. About your new work do you mind sharing as much as possible at this stage?

A: First I will work on the ‘Dream High 2’ project and in addition I will return to my day job. I’m making my utmost effort in order to start shooting at the earliest possible time. However as there is nothing concrete, I can’t tell you anything, but I think I will do a drama.

Q: While you were filming the drama TWSSG you broke the ligament of the index finger, injured the cervical spine and shoulder ligament. Early this year you were hospitalized due to a herniated disk. How are you feeling now?

A: Actually I haven’t fully recovered yet. From old times they say ‘Health is above everything else’ , or ‘If you are in good health, you can do anything.’
These words deeply pierced me to the heart now. I vaguely thought that I would get well with time, but then I found that I hardly recovered just with time. So in order to really get healthy I’m making various efforts now.

The whole interview will be carried on a Asian entertainment Magazine ‘Choa’, 4th issue to be out on September 20th.

(tomato: this is an excerpt from the posting.)

Good evening!!
This is Mobile staff S.

Yesterday (5 Sept.), Bae Yong Joon san’s return to Korea was released on news.

As news has been updated, Bae Yong Joon has safely returned home.

I would like to share a bit about Yong Joon san before going back to Korea.

Yesterday (5 Sept.) morning, when you look outside from the hotel window, you could find so many fans waiting around hotel area.
Bae Yong Joon san was saying,

“I feel really terrible seeing so many family waiting for me in this heat.”

“If I leave early, I would not have to make them wait so long,,,”

Suddenly, he decided to leave the hotel earlier than schedule.

On this very short notice, everyone at hotel were confused, but as Bae Yong Joon san begged to do so, everyone including staff from Korea decided to leave hotel early.

And where did he go after that??
BYJ came to Digital Adventure head office located at Roppongi!!

No one thought he would come to the head office so all the staff were really surprised.
“I have never been to the Japan office, so let’s go there”

I have had occasions to meet him before but I had never considered that he would visit here, so I was really surprised when I saw him here, I looked twice to confirm!!

This Japan visit was short with tight schedule.
Let’s hope that he could stay longer when BYJ visits next time.

DREAM HIGH EVENT IN JAPAN

FAN ACCOUNT - DREAM HIGH EVENT IN JAPAN

I lifted this trans conversation during the DREAM HIGH EVENT IN JAPAN in Jaime's blog. That shared to her by Cloudnine.

With special acknowledgement to Kei-san as Cloudnine’s account is based on Kei-san’s (almost) daily Yonsama mail, of Sept. 4th and 5th edition.

And photos shared by tomato on twitter.

I thank all my sisters for being so thoughtful and unselfish.
Thank you, thank you sooo much.

Part 1

Five students, Tae Gyon, Woo Yong, So Hyun , Suzy, and Joo, appeared on stage and started to sing ‘Dream High’ theme song in Korean. I first thought Joo was there instead of IU, but she herself was in D.H., who played a role of an aggressive student (who told a lie to be a solo dancer at entrance ceremony, and Baek Hee put a thumbtack into her shoe remember?)

They introduced themselves in Japanese, but Suzy had a little trouble and others cheered her saying ‘yukkuri- slowly’.

They sang and danced very well. Suzy was in a lavender color dress and Joo, was in a mini pink dress, very cute girls. Two of 2pm wore black leather suits and Su Hyun was in a black suit with a tie.

After the opening, JYP appeared and sang solo in Japanese, which was quite good too. Then ‘My Valentine’ by 2pm boys, ‘Winter Child’ by two girls, and ‘Dreaming’ by Su Hyun followed. There was also a ‘dance battle’ by 3 dancers centering JYP. I’m sure one of the boys was Woo Yong but the other was not Tae Gyon. He has been suffering from his leg injury for the past few days and he ended up with a wheel chair (I heard) on the final stage of 2pm’s ‘Hands Up’ tour in Seoul which took place the previous day. The camera didn’t catch the third dancer anyway. The show time was only 30 minutes and there was about 30 minutes break before the part 2.

Part 2

Mc was a young Japanese lady, Saki Yagi, who was known as a bilingual (Korean and Japanese) announcer from Osaka. First 4 students(3 boys and Suzi) appeared, then JYP, and finally wuri Yong Joon who was welcomed by the furious applause. BYJ fans today seemed to shout out louder than usual so that they won’t be defeated in spirits by young K-pop fans, hehe.

Each of the cast again greeted with a message in Japanese. So we heard Yon-sama speak Japanese after a long time.

“Everyone of my family I’m very happy to see you. I’ve been very much worried about Japanese people so I am relieved to see your smiles today. Today let us spend a fun time together.”

I’m sure all of us were moved with his words, but also felt that his Japanese was not as good as before.

Then ‘Talk Show’ time with JYP and BYJ.

Q(mc) How do you feel being together?

BYJ: Today I’m here very relaxed being together with JYP. I usually become nervous on stage, but this time with JYP by my side, I feel comfortable.

Q: How did you find working for D.H. as a producer?

BYJ: I have always wanted to have such a school. Then there was a person who introduced me to JYP who had the same idea. We met up and decided to produce D.H together. Without “Ji Young’ (this was how BYJ actually addressed JYP) Dream High was impossible.

Q: How do you find JYP as your partner?

BYJ: As I have no experience in production, it’s not flattery but I’m quite sure that without him this drama could not be accomplished. He is a reassuring partner indeed.

Q: What was your message through the drama?

BYJ: People can grow or comfort each other through music and dance. I wish the drama will encourage people to make a start for their dreams and passions.

Q: How did you find JYP as an actor?

JYP cuts in Japanese: “How do you do, I’m an actor JYP.” (laughs)

BYJ: For me JYP is a big threat. (laughs)

Q: What did you do for your character as the head director?

BYJ: (in Japanese) I did research a lot. (then switched to Korean) To tell the truth I feel sorry that I was not able to do my best. Because of the injury I got before, I had to give up my appearance halfway. I really wanted to continue to the end. For this I am very sorry.

Q: Still you showed your presence.

BYJ: Thank you.

Q: For JYP what kind of person is BYJ?

JYP: We are very close friends. He has a fault but he is also very adorable. I want to protect him. (BYJ pats JYP on the shoulder bashfully.)

Q: At what kind of occasion do you want to protect BYJ?

JYP: I’m quite straightforward about what I say, however, Yong Jooni takes time to think about what to say or how to say while giving thoughts to his counterpart. I wish he would speak out more freely.

BYJ: From now on I will say what I want to say to you. (laughs)

Q: Will you give a message to those who follow their dreams?

BYJ: It is very hard to do. I think goals and dreams are quite similar, but dreams are something we can’t reach. Bur because we have dreams, we try to accomplish our goals one by one.

Next session was an announcement of ‘Best 5 scenes’ selected by the fans.

No. 1 Ha Myon, head director plays the piano in an audition. (ep.1)

No.2 Kiss in the Ferris wheel in Nagoya (ep. 10)

No. 3 Mr. Jing Mann (English teacher) versus Jason (ep.9)

No. 4 Students sing and dance ‘Genie’ of Girls Generation to encourage Guku’s senior. (ep. 5)

No. 5 Head director visits Mr. Jin Mann at his house. (ep.2)

JYP: This was a very first scene for me to shoot. BYJ taught me in details line by line about its meaning and the character, which helped me a lot. I thought BYJ will be a good director. One thing, in the scene (ep.2) when I shook hands with BYJ, it was right after I scratched my hip so I feel very sorry.

BYJ: I almost tried to withdraw my hands. (laughs)

Mc: From now I would like you to answer the questions by the fans.

Q: If there were Kirin Art School, would like to go?

BYJ: Yes, of course. I will practice singing and dancing hard and wish to be like Ji Young.

JYP: I am a good looking actor. (laugh)

BYJ :After looking at his face for a while, he looks handsome.

Next session was ‘Lucky Draw’

Yong Joon offered the pair of glasses he used in the drama, autographed.

(Leny: I suppose to post the eyeglass photos but I respect Fuyukas request not to repost or copy the photos. If you want to see it just visit her blog, okay? -- http://blog.livedoor.jp)

JYP offered his favorite headphone with his autogaraph. I happened to be sitting close to a lady who won the glasses, so I asked her to show me the glasses.

Then two gentlemen left the stage and the talk show by the students began. Among the NG scenes we watched, there was a scene in which Suzy’s nose was running. Su Hyun who was sitting next to Suzy was twittering “Aigo, aigo” He was so cute.

‘My best scene’ picked by each of them was introduced one by one. Both Tae Gyon and Woo Yong picked their first appearances in the drama, action scene of Tae Gyon and Woo Yong’s speaking English scene. Su Hyun picked his crying scene. (Sorry I don’t remember which one Suzy picked.)

There was also ‘Lucky Draw’ by those young cast. Suzy offered her favorite ear rings, Su Hyun a pair of shoes he wore in the drama and Kirin Art School uniforms were offered by Tae Gyon and Woo Yong.

The event was coming to an end.

In closing the cast and audience together sang ‘Dream High’ theme song. Then on the screens Yong Joon and JYP who were watching the arena from backstage appeared. They came out of the dressing room and headed to the stage led by Mr. Shin who was holding a flashlight. Both of them looked very cool.

By this time audience got very excited.

They were welcomed by the students. Everyone made a farewell speech and Yong Joon was the last speaker.

He said “Thank you everyone for watching us for a long time . Next time we will do our best in the production of Dream High 2. I thank very much cast and staff for giving their best.”

Finally with Yong Joon’s call of ‘Se no – here we go’ we all shouted ‘Dream High!’
