[Repost Trans] Photographer Yonsama's Trip Essay of Korea

Feb.27, 2010

Again I lifted this translation from Suehan's blog (thanks again for helping us understand the article)

[One Scene] Photographer Yonsama's Trip essay of Korea

Hangeore 2010-02-26 18:16

[Hangeore] Gods of Four Direction (suehan: 四方神) and The Image of The 12 Earthly Branches (suehan: 十二支像) are carved just like characters in a cartoon in the stone rail with familiar feelings. Many of the fierce animals’ head are facing Geunjeong Palace (suehan: 勤政殿), so I can feel that they’re guarding rigorously. After examining their direction precisely, it might be interesting to accuse those who’re facing wrong direction. They have the look of a stern Confucian culture, but there are many humorous aspects in the detailed decorations. The aesthetic tastes and optimistic aspects are noticeable since these characteristics were allowed to be build for the Palace. (Page 290-291, Journey to Discover the Beauty of Korea)

We’d like to inform you of the filming of Animation Winter Sonata’s Ending Scene.

2010-02-26

Hello, I’m from Keyeast.

I hope you, all Family members are careful of colds when the season changes and welcome cheerful spring.

I think you might already know this information through the articles. Animation Winter Sonata's ending scene will be filmed in live-action and several casts including Bae Yong Joon and Choi Ji Woo will appear in it. It will revive the emotion of the drama.

Along with this, I’d like to respond many Families’ requests who’re wondering about the promotion tour of Animation Winter Sonata’s ending scene.

Now, ‘Animation Winter Sonata’ is showing on DATV in Japan and this promotion tour will be arranged for the DATV audiences as well. There are many Korean families who wanted to attend this tour and we created an opportunity so they can join this event according to the agreement of both companies.

All the procedures will be the same as the DATV audiences’. We regret to inform you that we can’t disclose the filming site for the smooth preparation of shootings and procedures. No photo shoots and individual transportations at the filming sites are allowed for this event.

There is a registration fee for the food, transportation expenses and other procedure purposes. I want those who want to visit the filming site to send an application to us according to the procedures below, and we’ll inform the eighty selected winners about the detail schedules and guidelines through an individual email

Feb. 26, 2010

TV program "The Eigth Hundred Millionth"

A repost from:
Translated into Korean: Yume3 (cafe byjfan)
Translated into English: Suehan

Fans of the stars who work in various fields appeared.
There was a Yongsama’ fan among them.
I extracted some of the contents.

It has been 5 years since I started loving Yonsama.

I spent so much money on Yongsama.

Eight passionate fans of the celebrities.

We heard the story about how they became fans.

Who filed a bankruptcy?

Money spent to support Yongsama

Trip to Korea (21times) ... 3.15 mil Yen
Goods ... 3.00 mil Yen
Telephone bills. ... 3.00 mil Yen
Tuition to learn Korean cuisine. ... 0.44 mil Yen
Tuition to learn Korean ... 0.25mil Yen
etc. ... 1.16 mil Yen
Total ... 11.00 mil Yen

Leny: Perhaps I'll spent the same or more if only I have lots of money too, because of my love for "Honey Baeb" Yong Joon, he he he...

Telephone bills; because there are fans in Korea and Japan.

Telephone bill was 3 million Yen for the exchange information.

Books and Magazines.

Third place in spending money since she became a fan.

A fan of a singer ranked first place in spending money.
