BYJ Visited Iwayama Urushi Art Museum

Hi,although I know that BYJ gone home to Korea since March 9 and that my Bae family have heard and seen this news and photos of BYJ already, I still want to post it here.

Since BYJ been in Morioka-Shi, Iwate-Ken , it was always in my thought.
Know why, it's because I was amazed.

I was always saying that I was got separated from the father of my 3 children, but I never mention where he came from. Now I'm gonna tell you that he is a Japanese and he was born in Iwate Province, yes he came from Iwate-Ken or Iwate Prefecture. That's why I'm so amuse that of all places in Japan, Joon Chang went there. What a coincidence.

I've heard that he , BYJ, visited the Iwayama Urushi Art Museum in Morioka Shi last month (Feb. , 2009) and the said traditional lacquer artist there Jun Yong Bok sama taught BYJ how to make the lacquered art, in fact BYJ stayed awake for 24 hours to finish his art. I've heard that he has done 12 panels, he's really a hard working , once he started one job he's going to finish it, really a devoted one. And they said Joon Chang will be back to learn more. May be that's why the Art Museum now was closed and under renovation. Since BYJ been there the Museum now will be famous to the tourist. Especially those who love BYJ.

I've heard also that BYJ was very happy strolling in the city and went sightseeing because nobody noticed him. What an amazing experience for him, strolling on the busy street without anybody following or staking or running after him. It's quite a peaceful travel for him.








They said this was the clothes that BYJ wore when he was painting and it remains hanging there til he comes back and wear it again. (I suggest they must bring it first to the dry cleaning center.)



This was the room they offered to BYJ.



Oh, the bedding's why pinky flowered pattern,( it's only good for me 'coz i love pink)
May be next time it's better just a plain white, 'coz BYJ loves plain white bedding's.



And the pillow, isn't it itchy, hope not... oh sorry for so much observant and naggy, I just care BYJ so much. But you know sometimes critics teach us and we learn from it, so don't get mad at me.

Japan Visit

Now it's really official about the rumors last Feb. 26 that BYJ went to Japan and enter in Sendai Airport for an official shooting. And from Sendai he travel through a Bullet Train to Tokyo, Japan. (Hmmm... I rode in Shinkansen Bullet Train once from Osaka to Tokyo. It's really fast, it took only 3 hours to travel.) So I think BYJ never gets bored by his long trip, may be it's much shorter time than I traveled and he keeps on shooting some pics with his camera while on board. And I've heard also that he went to the hot spring and even visited a traditional lacquer ware maker.

Bae Yong Joon is visiting Japan since last week.

We ask you for your understanding that we were not able to inform you beforehand
as this visit was fixed at very short notice.

While visiting Japan, he will do some shootings which are scheduled on track. Bae Yong Joon is very sorry that he cannot send his greetings directly to family during this stay.

However, he is happy that he is visiting Japan after a long while, he is feeling Japan and sending his greetings to everyone at heart.

We believe that top priority is everyone’s safety and not to cause any trouble to surrounding persons.

Please note that we will not be able to disclose his schedule in Japan.

Also, we ask for your understanding and support so that Bae Yong Joon can stay safely in Japan and go home feeling well.

Before the 1990s, most of the dramas featured on local Korean television were male-oriented programmes that never talked about love or romance.

"We were shocked when hearing the female protagonist say 'I love you' in Winter Sonata," says Eun-shil. Before the 1990s, love was never really mentioned on screen.

The trendy drama is a result of female writers who attended university in the 1980s and moved on from advocating democratisation to feminism. It was a period when individualism rose while politics declined. People yearned for personal freedom and rights, and began to think "personal is political".

Korea had always been a patriachal society but the automatic authority of the father has come into question during the past few decades. As Korea was trying to keep pace with the capitalist world, people were defined by profession and financial status. While those men who had been politically active in the '70s and '80s had never prepared for capitalism, they became the fathers of children who were born into global capitalism and have become divided by the different perspective towards life and society.

Gyeoul Yeonga, or Winter Sonata (better known in Thailand as Winter Love Song), was one of the very first series exported from Korea and received tremendous welcome, creating a huge fan base for male lead Bae Yong-jun all over East Asia, especially in Japan.

While Koreans found the series a romantic story, many Japanese who were forced to migrate from Korea during World War Two found the story healing and brought back their lost memories of their home towns.

Eun-shil arrived in Japan in 2004 for research and was shocked by the craze among female Japanese over the trendy Korean drama.

Due to its high standards, Japan is selective about its imports, from products to culture, but Winter Sonata was broadcast twice on the NHK channel in 2003.

Thanks to the success of the series and the actor, Bae Yong-jun was recently appointed new promotional ambassador of Korea Tourism to promote its 2010 to 2012 "Year of Korea Tourism".

Coins featuring Bae Yong-jun and a scene from Winter Sonata on each side have recently been released in Japan. The 807 coins, seven of which were gold and cost 1 million yen were sold out in no time.

Take note: Last month in JOB, they released a notice ----- to clarify the media reports about the high priced snowdrop coins from WLS anime official site sold out.

Happiebb explained the notice in Bb's blog 2/21/2009 12:45 Am:
the notice said BOF has not been able to reach a mutual agreement with the WLS anime official site about co-producing and selling those high-priced commemorative coins. but the site went ahead and released those coins (1,000,000 yen!!), and in fact, they started taking reservations!!

upon hearing about this, BOF immediately requested that they stop the sales. they came to the agreement to say the items were 'sold out' in order to resolve this matter.

Scrap booking

Scrap booking is one of my hobby. I'm not contented if I just paste on the photos to the album. It seems like naked to me, somethings missing. So I add some decorations and some journals on it. I did scrap booking since I was in grade school and it becomes a passion for me to do it every time I have a new photos. I enjoy so much doing it and so happy to see the out come of what I have done.

I show you some of my simple and flat scrap book pages. I mean not the bulky ones, because some of my scrapbook pages are bulky, because of the embellishments I put on it.

"Bae to Appear in Self-produced Drama 'Dream High'
[ 2009-02-24 ]

Actor Bae Yong-jun (37) has been flying below the radar since the hit 2007 MBC TV drama series "The Legend" (Taewangsashingi). He is expected to appear in the tentatively-named drama "Dream High," which he will produce with music mogal Park Jin-young. Keyeast says Bae will produce and plan the drama but is also mulling a screen appearance. Dream High is the first collaboration between JYP Entertainment, whose largest shareholder is Park, and Keyeast, whose number one shareholder is Bae. It will be a coming-of-age school drama set in an entertainment and arts school. Set to air during next year's first half, the story will feature a great deal of singing, dancing and acting and will also portray the inner workings of the entertainment industry. JYP and Keyeast announced the project last month. Park will be in charge of the music production, lyrics, adaptation, vocal and dance training for the cast while Bae will be involved in the overall production and screenplay. Bae earlier considered his next acting role to be the drama "One Drop" but, due to its delay, he could decide to appear in Dream High instead. Keyeast says Bae is particularly passionate about the high profile Park-Bae collaboration and if there's fitting role, he is willing to make an appearance. The playwright will be chosen and serious preparations will kick off this month. Keyeast says school teen dramas such as Disney's "High School Musical" have been massive hits but that Dream High will be different from such existing dramas. Source : KBS Global

These days, Bae Yong Joon is busy preparing the book to introduce Korea.

Other day, he went to interview the site where Korean ceramic wares
are created in traditional ways.

He experienced to create ceramics himself and had spent significant time.

I did not go with him, but according to staff who accompanied him,
Bae Yong Joon continued all night creating ceramics.

He was very active, he carried firewood himself.

Even though it was his first time to make ceramics, staff were surprised
that he made it very well.

Also, Bae Yong Joon’s best friend, actor Ryu Seung Soo ssi had come
from distance and joined him to create ceramics together.

Bae Yong Joon looked so happy having his best friend’s visit.

It is so good to see their deep friendship.

I feel it is happiest time to spend joyful time with your close friends.
