Animation of 'Winter Sonata' to be aired in Japan in October

Two Japanese broadcasters plan to air an animated version of the popular South Korean TV drama "Winter Sonata" in the country, the companies said, according to Yonhap News.

Entertainment channel DATV and SKY Perfect TV, Japan's largest satellite television provider, said broadcasts of the animation, based on the South Korean soap opera that gained global popularity, will begin Oct. 17.

The animated series consists of 26 episodes with a running time of 30 minutes each, according to the broadcasters.

The production drew keen interest from Japanese fans in May last year when the stars of the original series met for the first time since its production in 2002 to do voice recordings for the animation.

South Korean actor Bae Yong-joon, who played the lead male role, and actress Choi Ji-woo, who played the heroine, have gained unprecedented popularity in the region.

Hi... I'm Back !!!

Aug. 24, 2009

Hi Guys,

I'm back... missed me???

To Ida, Myoce, Hanhara, Hyds, Sahee, Lily, Jennychee and to all my Bae sisters, so sorry if I made you worry. But I'm fine and my kids, nothing bad happened.

See... I'm Okay

It's just that our computer connection was in troubled. I checked the telephone line but it'was okay and I brought our unit to the repair shop too but nothings wrong. So I called the internet company and told them the problem. They restored our connection several times but still it's unsuccessful. They don't know what's the problem either.

I'm planning already to get another line from another company but thanks GOD, yesterday evening it's back, it was restored.

I was really left behind of the news about my "Honey Baebs". I have to catch up a lot.

The Re Opening of Iwayama Lacquer Museum

Aug. 2, 2009

I'm waiting for this news since Aug 1. because in Baeland we all know that the Iwayama Lacquer Museum would re open again after 8 months of renovation and that Mr. JYB would include the art work of BYJ as one of the exhibit. At last I found this article in Bb's blog.

The event went successfully and attended by Korean Ambassador to Japan, Iwate Governor and Morioka Mayor. The new CEO of Keyeast too was there, which was said the bother in law of BYJ, Mr. Kim Gi Hong. And of course hundreds of people too attended, mostly Bae family , who applauded warmly when Mr. JYB mention BYJ.

BYJ was not present at that event but he sent a message through a video.

Here are the photos shared by Yuri and Noriko

Hello, everyone. This is Bae Yong Joon.

I sincerely congratulate the opening of the Iwayama Lacquer Museuem.

As for honorary director, I should have been together with everyone today, but regrettably, I'm unable to be there. Because of this, I feel very sorry towards my teacher Mr Jun Yong Bok as well as his family.

I'm currently in the final stage of the book that I've been working on. I will put in my utmost to finish the project, and repay everyone with a well-written book.

In addition, as a gesture to congratulate the opening of the museum, it is with embarrassment and humility that I put up to share with you the work that I've completed during the days when I was learning the craft in Japan and also pictures taken during those days.

However, I am still very, very immature and new in the field of lacquer art, I hope that everyone will understand that the work on display is part of my learning process, and be looking at my work with a forgiving heart.

From now on, I will work harder to deepen my understanding of lacquer art.

Hope that everyone will remain healthy and happy.

Let us all meet again in September.

I think the Video Greetings was taken the same time he sent a message too for the Nintendo DS software released.
